Ministries

Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into Him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:15-16)

To learn more about each ministry, please find the listed individuals on Sunday morning, or use the form on the Contact Us page.

Prayer Ministry

Please join us for prayer each Sunday from 9 am to 9:50 am as we intercede for individuals, the Body, the nations, and missionaries’ needs. Actively learn how to approach the throne of God and participate in learning the different forms of prayer-petition, dimensional prayer, and hearing God’s voice. Learn who God is, who you are in Christ, and the weapons He has given us to live the Spirit-filled life.

OIF church-wide prayer meetings are held quarterly. For dates, please refer to the OIF Calendar.

Community Bible Time

Community Bible Time classes teach believers God’s Word to equip them to minister to others wherever God sends them. We invite everyone to come and attend on Sunday mornings at 10 am in the OIF Hall.

Worship Team

The Worship Team seeks to cultivate a community that celebrates the King and the diversity of His Kingdom through musical worship. We do this by

  • leading the OIF congregation into worship of God, joyfully, faithfully, and creatively through music and traditions that reflect all nations
  • recruiting and discipling people from all nations who can lead the congregation in worship
  • growing as individuals and as a team in our love and knowledge of the Lord, as we join in the Holy Spirit’s work of drawing all nations to Jesus.

Small Groups

Small groups make up the community core which forms the basis of our church. Because they play such an important role, we would like to encourage those of you who attend OIF to be a part of one! Meeting once a week gives us a chance to share, enjoy, and learn together in a way Sunday church doesn’t allow. Read more.

Facilities Team

The Facilities Team serves to keep the practical function of the church building and equipment in good working order. We oversee both a spring cleaning in preparation for the summer and then a fall reset of heaters and more for the winter months. At times we will install new equipment, and we continually seek to improve the service of the many ministries and groups that use the PCCO and OIF facilities.

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team shows God’s love to guests and regular attendees by being a friendly face and helping them feel welcome each Sunday. We hope to help visitors get to know our OIF community and connect with our church members and small groups. We greet before Sunday services, have lunch with visitors during the fellowship lunch at the Guest Connections table, and follow up with our guests.

Missions Department

The Missions Department is responsible for communications with the missionaries that the church supports. We keep in touch on a monthly basis to pray for their needs and send them financial support on a quarterly basis. Every year, we have a Missions Focus Weekend to build awareness of what God is doing around the world, sustain the church’s heart for sharing the gospel cross culturally, inform the church who the supported missionaries are and encourage the church to care for them.
